What is the Emission Calculator Badge?
The Emission Calculator Badge indicates that an organization has used the Finland Chamber of Commerce’s Emission Calculator to calculate its carbon footprint.
What are the benefits of the Emission Calculator Badge?
With the Emission Calculator Badge, you can demonstrate to your stakeholders that your organization’s carbon footprint has been calculated using the Finland Chamber of Commerce’s reliable and transparent calculation tool, which is based on the GHG Protocol.
The Badge also supports the development of high-quality carbon footprint calculations. Before granting the Badge, the Finland Chamber of Commerce reviews the calculation for obvious deficiencies and requires that it includes the organization’s operational emissions (Scope 1), purchased energy emissions (Scope 2) and material value chain emissions (Scope 3).
How can you obtain the Badge?
You can obtain the Badge by completing the calculation using the Finland Chamber of Commerce’s Emission Calculator and applying for the Badge through the Emission Calculator, where detailed instructions are provided.
The Finland Chamber of Commerce confirms that the calculation has been completed and grants the Badge, if necessary after requesting additional information.
The Badge is granted to an organization, not to an individual product or service.
With the Emission Calculator Badge, you can demonstrate, for example, to financiers and business customers that your company’s carbon footprint has been calculated using the Chamber’s reliable and transparent tool.

Member price for Chamber of Commerce members: € 990 + VAT 25.5 %
Standard price: € 1,250 + VAT 25.5 %
The application fee is invoiced in accordance with the criteria and procedural rules of the Emission Calculator Badge.
