Chambers of Commerce around the world do international, national, regional and local lobbying work to enhance the business environment. Chambers of Commerce influence e.g. the regulation of companies’ business, from company law to taxation, from training to skills and working life issues, as well as transport and logistics issues.
Chambers of Commerce are also the world’s most practical business organization, as they operate in a number of ways to enhance business skills, responsibility and streamline trade between companies. Chambers of Commerce around the world provide companies with a variety of services, training and advice to help companies enhance their skills. Through self-regulation, Chambers of Commerce promote corporate accountability and streamline foreign trade and help in dispute resolution.

The Finland Chamber of Commerce and the 19 Chambers of Commerce work closely with the Chambers of Commerce in different countries. The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), which operates in over 90 countries; Eurochambers, which brings together Chambers of Commerce in 43 European countries; bilateral Chambers of Commerce, which strengthen our trade relations with over 60 countries, and their FinnCham network; and the Chambers of Industry and Commerce of each country, are a natural and important partner for the Finland Chamber of Commerce and 19 regional Chambers of Commerce.
